the blank paypal key is on the support ticket contents, which was posted on 16/09/2019 22:04. Because both FTP and attachments button are not working. I had to paste it as blank in order to expedite the fixing process.

It is big security hole to leave it on the ticket contents. Thank you for help!

Albert

Hi Ringgo,

Thank you for fixing the issue.
The FTP still not work: “Error: Critical file transfer error”, even using the detail info you provided.
Could you please remove the blank paypal key from the support ticket contents?

Dear Albert He,

Hi,
Since the DNS has been updated to the new server, all the record included FTP record has been pointed to the new one.
You can use the following details of your FTP account:
Host: 169.60.176.224
Username: hostlike
Password: YourFTPPassword

Now we have reconfigured your web.config file with the un-encrypt sections on the new server.
You can check it through your Control Panel >> File Manager >> fundingworld.org >> wwwroot.
There are some backup files of the web.config stored on the root directory. You can delete it if you will.
However, we cannot delete the “Paypal” key on the ticket at the moment.
For now, your website http://fundingworld.org/ is working properly (screenshot attached).
Please kindly check it again from your end, may you need to clear your browser cache before access it.

For your information, the new server accessing with the new control panel URL: http://panel153.blankserver.com/ .
Please do not use the old one since your account has been pointed to the new server.
Feel free to get back to us for further assistance.
Thank you.

Dear Albert He,

Hi,
Thank you for your update.
The “Paypal” section is working now on the new server.
However, the website still found an encrypted on “appSettings” section.
Please provide us the full code of that section so we can process it on the new server.
We’re looking forward to your response.
Thank you.

I tried to attach the unencrypted web.config using Attachments button below, I got “The following errors occurred:
The file you tried to upload is not allowed.”

I tried to upload it to the wwwroot folder through ftp but I got “550 Access is denied”.

I have to paste the paypal section here:

<paypal>
<settings>
<add name=”mode” value=”live” />
<add name=”connectionTimeout” value=”360000″ />
<add name=”requestRetries” value=”1″ />
<add name=”clientId” value=”zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz” />
<add name=”clientSecret” value=”zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz” />
<add name=”tax” value=”0″ />
<add name=”currency” value=”CAD” />
</settings>
</paypal>

Dear Albert He,

Hi,
Thank you for your update.
Yes, the DNS changed should not affect the site running.
However, the site should be working before we updated the DNS.
But as you can review on this ticket, we cannot make it works on the new server since you have encrypted your web.config on “connectionString” and “Paypal” sections.
The “connectionString” section has been decrypted successfully and it is available to migration to the new server environment.
But on the “Paypal” section, decryption we have made still not lucky.

Based on our last updated on this ticket, the server has been closed on 09/11/2019.
That’s why before the server closed, we must be updated your DNS to the new server details.
We’re really glad to make your site working well during the migration, however, your cooperation on our identifying issue is also really appreciated.

Now your site DNS has been pointed to the new server, but the website still not working well.
Please kindly help us to decrypt your web.config for “Paypal” section in order to allow us to register the web.config to the new server system.
Thank you.

After changing DNS, the website fundingworld.org get error. Could you please help to investigate the reason? In my understanding DNS change should not affect the site running. Is there any other reason?

Dear Albert He,

Hello,
We have start migrate your website, but we found an error on your site :
http://fundingworld.org.153.blankserver.com/
After we move to a new server, your site showing error “Failed to decrypt using provider ‘RsaProtectedConfigurationProvider’. Error message from the provider: The parameter is incorrect”
Since you encrypt your web.config file, and I move to new server error, also I tried for decrypt your web.config your site still show an error because you, encrypt on connection string and Paypal, for connection string I can decrypt but for PayPal I can’t,
So we need, you orignal file your web.config, before your encrypt, you can upload into your file manager
We wait, next update from you on this ticket ASAP,
Thank you
